In 1998, when Master Tsai opened his tea house, “Lost, Trained, Found,” he put aside several jars of a very gorgeous and high-grade Li Shan tea—the best he could find. His plan was to open the first jar on the thirty-year anniversary of the tea house and then start sharing the tea with guests from then on… Recently, he came to us and said, “I would rather this tea be sold to help build our Center, Light Meets Life, than drink it myself.” Of course, the gift of this tea, along with the “our” in his offering made us cry.
Cloud Freedom is a rare tea to begin with. Then, you add to that immaculate and intentional storage. Most aged oolong is not intentionally-stored, but rather left over in the backs of shops or farms and often exposed to oxygen when it shouldn’t be. Then, add to that Master Tsai’s love and the power of this gift and you have a tea worthy of the Heavens.
Cloud Freedom is a soar through the upper stratosphere of oolong tea—delicious and gorgeous in every possible way. It is so special, we just had to offer it in celadon jars—no bag or package would be enough!
Each jar holds 75 grams.
