Dragonboat
Dragonboat is an amazing white tea that was stored like a zhongzhi, which are a glutinous rice dish wrapped in bamboo leaves and often shared during the Dragonboat Festival. This white tea is from old-growth trees on Li Shan in Taiwan and is sun-dried. The teas was made more than ten years ago. The aging in the bamboo leaves has imparted a beautiful fragrance and flavor to this tea, deepening it along with the age. It is open and very purifying. It brews light and clear. It is an absolute joy to brew leaves in a bowl, but you can also brew in a sidehandle, gongfu or even boil this tea. It will also be fine for further aging. White tea responds well to time, as you will see when you try this rare and marvelous tea. Happy Dragonboat all year round!
