Pinyon

Pinyon is a very solid well-aged shou puerh from the late 1980s. Of course, there is no way to confirm the vintage of such loose-leaf puerh teas other than to compare them to other similar teas and/or trust the information of the vendor or collector we get them from. That said, Pinyon is indeed aged well with nice storage. It is thick and rich with a creamy sweetness and hints of fruit due to the fact that it is quite “tippy,” meaning that there are many buds in the blend. The energy is earthy, rooted and very, very solid. This is a great daily drinker and perfect for blending with as well.
