Happy Trails

This glorious brick was made by the Kunming Tea Factory in the mid-1990s, back when most all puerh tea was clean and chemical-free. This brick is made from a blend, including large-leaf old-growth raw material. We do not know the mountain it is from. It tastes of a trail through an old-grove autumnal forest, with deep, grounding energy and a complex body full of many aromas and flavors. This is a great aged shou from the time when shou was not so piled, meaning that the artificial fermentation was only done partway. As a result, teas like this do age and change, developing some of the character of an aged sheng.
