Water Fairy

This is a very special oolong tea. Shui Xian (Water Fairy) tea trees have been in Taiwan for quite some time, though they never took off in the domestic market and so aren’t planted very often these days. Master Lu Li Zhen brought some seeds to his organic farm to grow and just started making tea from them recently. As many of you know, Master Lu roasts all his own teas, using techniques he has mastered over many decades of tea roasting. This delicious tea tastes very much like a Wuyi Shui Xian tea, with the fragrance of orchids that it is famous for, while also containing the mineral profile of Taiwan and the marvelously balanced roast of Master Lu. This tea would be perfect for aging, but is already wonderful to drink as well. The energy is uplifting and bright.
