Xishi Teapot

Xishi was the first of the “Four Great Beauties” of China, so beautiful that they say she helped cause the fall of the state of Wu in the fifth century BCE. Some say this classic shape was made to resemble her full, round and graceful face, while others claim it represents her breast. This gorgeous Yixing teapot is made from genuine forty-year-old zisha (purple-sand) clay. They are handmade by Master Chen Ju Fang of Master Zhou’s “Wu Xing Shan Fang” studio.
The volume of this teapot is 130ml.
