Leaves in a Bowl — Preview

Single bowl tea, the oldest way
For a tea practice to mature, it must return to where all tea practice must begin: with leaves, heat and water. No pot, no timing, no equipment beyond a bowl. Thousands of years of human presence gather quietly in it.
Most of us arrive at the bowl still carrying everything we carry everywhere: the restless mind, the judgement, the half-presence. Formless tea is honest about all of that. It simply shows us where we are, without any elaboration. This is exactly why it is so valuable. And exactly why we return to it.
Sit with a bowl of tea every day this week. Not a ceremony, just leaves, water, and your full attention. Five minutes or fifty. When the mind wanders, return. Do not try to make it a good session. Try only to be completely here for one cup.
Leave your email and we will send you the complete single bowl instructions: which leaves suit the bowl, water and temperature, and how to let the session become a daily sitting practice.
