Ando
Ando means “Peaceful Way.” It is the finer sibling of our Empty Basin brick, both created for us by Master Lü Lizhen from Yiwu Mountain tea. While Empty Basin blends various leaf grades, Ando is pressed from a higher grade, more tippy tea into these smaller and finer bricks. If you liked Empty Basin, you will love Ando. The brick is tightly compressed, so you will need a puerh knife to open it up. A little goes a long way. The extra tips lend Ando a smoother, sweeter and creamier cup than its sibling, with a deep and long-lasting flavor. The mild piling notes will settle further if you age some of these bricks. The Qi is soft and grounding. Ando rewards careful gongfu steeping and is equally lovely boiled.
