Argil

Argil is a famous 1980s Liu Bao, from a basket stamped “VIVE” with a crown brand, which is usually the name it goes by. It was aged by our teachers in Malaysia and some of the proceeds will support a tea culture museum they are building there. This beautiful tea is deep and dark, with a very complex aroma and flavor. The tea was piled, not steamed, making this tea similar to shou puerh in some ways. The energy is solid and earthy, moving downward. This is an excellent tea.
