Aureate

Aureate mini cakes are named for their extravagance. These little mini cakes are shou puerh from clean gardens in Ai Lao, Yunnan. They were produced in the mid 2000s. Then, brought to Taiwan, they were roasted by one of Taiwan’s important roast masters, Huang Chuan Fang. They are toasty and bright like a traditional oolong and creamy and dark like a shou puerh, combining flavors we love. This tea is great in a mug as a beverage, in a thermos on the go or for having a good chat when friends visit. It is also great for converting our friends and family who aren’t as interested in tea as we are.
