Left-Handed Earthen Drum Sidehandle

Earthen Drum began with a simple intention: a sidehandle that pours beautifully and stays affordable. We wanted a well-made pot for bowl tea that as many people as possible could bring into their daily practice, so we built it from scratch, testing the arc of the pour, the angle of the handle and even the shape of the button beneath the index finger until it sat right in the hand and poured clean.

This is the left-handed version, made for pouring with the left hand. It is formed from a dark clay, then sprayed with a fine slip of the same clay for texture, a clay that has a very nice effect on both water and tea liquor.

It holds approximately 400ml, a size suited to serving three to five people.
