Medicine Bundle

Medicine Bundle is a “Ba Bao (把茶)” sheng puerh tea from ancient trees, harvested in 2020. We have searched for Ba Bao tea we could share with you for quite some years. These bundles of mature leaves from old-arbor trees have been carried by aboriginals in the tea-growing regions of Yunnan for centuries. Even twenty years ago it was common to meet a local with one in their coat pocket, pulling it out to share some simple leaves in a bowl with you by the roadside. This Ba Bao is from the border region of Yunnan and Vietnam. Ba Bao tea is simple; it is picked and dried. It is one of the best teas for leaves in a bowl you will find. It is clear, bright and pristine. It fills the bowl with the spirit of the forest and the simple hospitality of tea people. The energy is upward-moving, clear and strong.
