Pilgrimage

Pilgrimage is a beautiful well-aged loose-leaf sheng puerh. We can never be sure of the vintage of such teas, but we suspect this to be late 1980s. It is a marvelous tea and what we consider to be exemplary of the best of such teas. It has a rich and complex tea liquor with notes of Chinese medicinal herbs and an aftertaste of camphor. The energy is warm and bold, moving slow and yet constant, much like a pilgrim should. This will make for a powerful session and is also a wonderful tea to blend with others.
