Walking Root

Walking Root is a gorgeous well-aged loose-leaf shou from the 1980s. It is deep, rich and dark and has hints of ginseng in the aftertaste, which is why we named it thus. There are many traditional Chinese stories about ginseng taking the shape of a person to help sick people. In fact, some ginseng roots even look like people. There is no ginseng in this tea, but it does taste like it, which is a common sentiment when puerh lovers drink aged tea. The Qi of this tea is deep and grounding. This is a wonderful aged tea, only available in a limited quantity.
