Large Rock Garden Sidehandle

Our largest sidehandle, made for bowl tea and, unlike the smaller pots, able to sit over a flame to boil. It follows the design we refined across the smaller sidehandles, the pour, the handle angle and the button beneath the index finger all tested and built from scratch. It is made from a clay blend, sprayed with a fine slip of the same clay for texture, and that blend is what lets the pot take direct heat for boiling, unlike the smaller Earthen Drum sidehandle.

Because of the glaze, the colour varies a little from the photos, as each batch fires slightly differently. We will do our best to choose one that matches what you order, so please reach out with any questions. We also have a small number of more wabi-fired large sidehandles, functionally perfect, with a few extra wabi marks beneath the handle from the firing.

This sidehandle holds approximately 900ml, a size suited to serving six to nine people.
