Righteousness is back! This is one of the best cakes of sheng puerh we have ever tried. We have several in storage ourselves. A puerh lover went to Bulang with three criteria: that they use only leaves from very old trees, that the leaves be a blend of more mature lives like recipes from the Antique Era (think 8582) and that they blend multiple years of maocha together, which was also common in the Antique Era. The result was a blend of three batches of old-growth tea from the middle of the decade (2010-2020). This tea is bold, beautiful and rich with a glorious fragrance, long lasting flavor and impeccable aftertaste. It is perfect for drinking or storing. We think it will eventually age into a tea much like the classic cakes it commemorates.
