Joy

Joy is back! We were able to get our hands on a few more cakes of this legendary tea that so many of you know and love. Joy is a well-aged Dian Hong from 2001. It was produced by a friend of ours on one of his first trips to Yunnan, using old-growth raw material from Lincang, which was more affordable in those days. It is our all-time favorite Dian Hong. This tea was compressed very tightly so a small amount opens up quite a bit. The tea is malty, rich and deep with a powerful and very joyous Yang energy.
