Wu De returns to California for two weeks of tea: a first week with Village Tea Hut in Orange County, then a second week at Ojai Tea Hut. Each Tea Hut takes its own registrations.

The week opens with a morning tea sit at the Ecology Center, followed by four workshops at Village Tea Hut and a closing community gathering.

Ojai Tea Hut

November 15th – 22nd, 2026

An open house community gathering on Sunday the 15th, then five days of evening and weekend workshops, from the Way of Tea and the seven genres to fire, closing with a morning of boiled tea and live music.

Each year we invite thirty friends from around the world to travel to the source — drinking amazing teas, visiting organic gardens and old-growth trees, and learning from the true tea masters: those who steward the land. Many of our greatest memories have been made on the road together.

Community Tea Sits

We gather online each month to drink tea and connect as a global community of tea lovers. Each session is hosted by older formal students who have devoted years to this tradition, holding the space and offering living examples of what it looks like to walk this path with commitment and care.

We start together in silence. Tea is brewed with the heart, and there is no right or wrong. No registration required: just show up with your tea and your questions.
