Big Green Mark

This is a well-stored puerh from the mid-90s. This tea was stored by a friend of ours in Taiwan on the second floor. It was stored rather clean and the storage flavors, therefore, leave in the first cup or two. If you plan on drinking the tea, you should break it all up and put it in a nice jar, which will let air into the center and also release any storage aromas.

We find it to be rather clean, with some nice Qi and some strength left as well, which means it is a good candidate for drinking or storing. The liquor is smooth, with an ever so slight astringency, hinting at the fact that it can go further, but it is also bright and dark, having aged since the mid-90s. This is a very affordable cake for what it is and worth giving a try.
