Alchemy is a wonderful 1998 loose-leaf shou puerh from Bulang Mountain. Our friends in Taiwan bought this tea in 2000 from Hong Kong. It was traditionally-stored for those two years, but the twenty years after have all been drier, balancing the tea out. You cannot really tell it ever was in Hong Kong.
This tea is deep, rich and delicious. It is great for drinking and aging, as the artificial fermentation (piling) was not complete back in those days.
