This kettle can be boiled over charcoal, and the handle stays comfortable to hold. Use a brazier large enough to bring a full kettle to the boil. Smaller braziers are made for keeping a kettle warm.
This kettle should not be used on an alcohol brazier. Use one of the other heat sources shown here.
Never heat the kettle without water in it.
This kettle is a unique and beautiful expression of the harmony between humans and nature. It is made from a special blend of clay that is both durable and extremely light. The wood for the handle is gathered during one of Chen Qi Nan’s hikes into the nearby mountains. The clay has a beautiful influence on the water when preparing tea. This kettle can be used on infrared and gas safely though it works best when heated on a charcoal brazier.
