Dragon Lid Rest

This small zisha lid rest depicts a dragon with a pearl. In China, the dragon is a totem of vibrancy, power and auspiciousness, while the pearl is a symbol of abundance and wisdom.

At 4.5 by 3.3 cm, it suits the lid of a gongfu teapot or a smaller sidehandle, and works wonderfully for the lid of a sidehandle when boiling tea, as long as that lid isn't too broad.
