Ratna

Ratna is one of the best loose-leaf aged shou puerh teas we have ever had. It is composed of more mature leaves, some of which are thinner and age differently. The storage is immaculate and on the drier side. The thinner leaves lend the tea an autumn forest flavor. There are also hints of mushrooms, Chinese medicine, camphor and others. It is rich, complex and bold. It is not thick, and doesn’t present as very fermented, almost like a sheng. The energy is upward moving, Yang, bold, clean and beautiful. This tea is excellent for drinking now, but could also be aged. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
