Wabi Small Handmade Jars

These gorgeous jars were designed by Deng Ding Sou. The clay is blended with various ground minerals that help hold and preserve a tea's aromas as it ages. They can be used for red tea or oolong, but are best for black teas and puerh. They are ideal for long-term aging, though lined up along a shelf they are a beautiful way to keep your daily drinkers as well.

These jars carry firing marks across the glaze, where the kiln has left its own record on the surface. Some are speckled, some scorched or pooled where the glaze ran. No two are the same, and we would not want them to be. This is the wabi in their name.

The small jar is approximately 9cm by 10cm. As each is handmade, the size can vary slightly from one firing to the next.
