Gongfu

White Elephant is a beautiful little cake of old-growth sheng puerh from the village of He Kai in Menghai County. This cake was harvested in spring of 2021 from one of the oldest groves of tea trees near the village, with trees that are centuries old. The villagers say the trees average between 200 and 400 years old and grow at around 1,300 meters above sea level. White Elephant is a beautiful sheng tea with a clear and clean openness and a Yin energy that is uplifting. It is a great tea for drinking or for aging.
