Eagle Feather

SOLD OUT

Eagle Feather is one of the rarest and most precious teas we have ever offered. It is one of our all-time favorites around here, and we all have a special relationship to it, indeed. It is a blend of two different plants, an old-growth Puerh and an ancient Daoist herb called “Qi Nan.” The two go together like tea and meditation; they dance in a magical way, filling you with old myths about the forest and the animals there. This blend is one of the most energetically powerful brews under the sun.

Qi Nan is the leaf of a rare, old-growth tree that grows in Yunnan, Szechuan and to a lesser extent Guangzhou. It comes from the Agarwood trees (Aquilaria malaccensis), the internal resins of which are used to make incense. Our Qi Nan comes from old-growth wild trees growing 1500 meters above sea level with giant trunks that need to be climbed to pick these rare, fragrant and medicinal leaves. Qi Nan has been treasured by Daoist recluses and Tibetan sages for thousands of years, as it uplifts and amplifies the Qi. We revel in the mystery of this magical plant. It tastes of sandalwood and carries frequencies of Qi not to be found in any other plant we have ever interacted with. It is a Qi tonic, uplifting the spirit tremendously.

The harmony between these two plants is amazing. The Qi Nan actually turns the cool nature of the young puerh warm. It amplifies the Qi of the tea and also adds more of its own, altogether enough to soar through the clouds.

The flavor and aroma of this tea are strong so be careful which teaware you use and how long you leave the wet leaves behind. We suggest cleaning up right away.

Each bag is approximately 100 grams.
